Both men were apprehended. Inside the F-150, authorities found two sets of brass knuckles and suspected methamphetamine.
The driver, Thomas Tagg, 42, of Denver, faces multiple charges, including flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, obstructing a peace officer, and numerous traffic violations.
The passenger, Corie Kolthoff, 36, of Brighton, Colorado, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon without disclosure, and obstructing a peace officer.
The third individual, Benjamin Franklin, 27, of Mitchell, Nebraska, was charged with obstructing a peace officer and aiding and abetting a felony.
