COLUMBUS, Neb. – Harrah’s Columbus, NE Racing and Casino, the first Caesars Entertainment property in Nebraska, officially opened its doors to guests on Friday.
“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone to Harrah’s Columbus, NE Racing and Casino today,” said Todd Connelly, regional president of Caesars Entertainment. “Harrah’s is a beloved brand nationwide, and we are excited to bring it to Nebraska, celebrating this milestone with our partners and friends as we look forward to a promising future here.”
The casino spans 17,000 square feet and features 400 slot machines, 11 table games, and a Caesars Race and Sportsbook with a 2,100-square-foot sports betting area. This marks the debut of Caesars Sportsbook in Nebraska.
In collaboration with Columbus Exposition and Racing, Harrah’s will also host 15 live horse races on a one-mile track from August 16 to September 15.
Additionally, an adjacent Marriott Fairfield Inn and Townplace Suites is currently under construction and will be directly connected to the casino upon its completion later this year.
