Tami Sue was born September 6, 1964, in Valley County, Nebraska to Donald Dean and Ruth Mavis (Manchester) Wheeler and was raised in Burwell, Nebraska.
Tami was a client at Mid-Nebraska Individual Services in Ord where she enjoyed her many friends and jobs in the workshop.
Tami was a happy person who loved her family, travelling, and was a huge Cornhusker and Elvis fan. She never met a person whom she didn’t hug tight and made them her new best friend. She never forgot a face and would always say “hi” and give you a hug whenever she saw you; you became family. Tami could also be a stubborn gal, like her Dad and sister, Deanna. But she never would let that linger long before showing her contagious smile again and tell you she loved you. She didn’t care who you were, she loved you and would tell you so.
Tami had some favorites in life, and Elvis was a huge one. For most of her life she was Elvis’ girlfriend. Recently she told us they were married. No matter if it was a good day or bad day, the constant was her marriage to the love if her life, Elvis. Some of Tami’s other favorites were cheeseburgers, pizza, Pepsi, chocolate milk and Pop tart (which she had every morning), ketchup on absolutely everything (it made bad things taste good). She also enjoyed WWE Pro Wrestling; and all of her sisters and nieces dogs.
Tami will be greatly missed by everyone she ever met. Her love for life was contagious and quickly became many peoples favorite person in the world.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Deanna and Larry Dzingle of Burwell; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Doran Epp of Henderson and Todd and Kim Baliman of Kimball; nieces, Kristie and Luke Zulkoski and their family all of Hazard and Angie and Joe Bourland and their family all of Kearney; aunt and uncle, Dan and Zona Malmberg of Atkinson; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Merton and Vida Wheeler and Gerald and Ora Manchester; her brother, Donnie Wheeler; a nephew, Christopher Dzingle; and uncle, Gary Wheeler.
