Former Nebraska State Trooper get 20 Years Behind Bars

Brandon Dolezal was sentenced Monday in Sarpy County Court to 20-40 in prison for first-degree sexual assault. The 25-year-old Dolezal is charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. He was arrested in July of 2022 and pled no contest to the charge. At the time of his arrested he was only three months out of the Nebraska State Patrol Academy. Not only is he facing charges out of Sarpy County but he is also facing two counts of child enticement and four counts of possession of child pornography out of Scotts Bluff County and also six counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child out of Douglas County. He has a sentencing hearing on April 3rd in Scotts Bluff County and a pretrial hearing for the charges out of Douglas County on April 13th.
