
Lois M. Graff, 92 of Greeley passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Greeley Care Home.
Mrs. Graff’s wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the United Methodist Church in Greeley. Pastor Arsene Lumami will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Greeley Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Greeley Fire and Rescue Department or the Greeley Care Home and Assisted Living. T.J. Finn and Son’s Funeral Home of Greeley is in charge of arrangements.
Lois Marie was born on October 15, 1928, near Scotia, Nebraska to Lee O. and Ethel F. (Williams) Timmons. She was raised in Greeley County where she attended country schools through the 8th grade and graduated from Scotia High School in 1946. She then taught rural school for a few years.
On May 20, 1950, Lois was united in marriage to John Ivan Graff at Grand Island, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Greeley where they spent their entire married lives. John passed away in 2004.
Lois was a member of the Greeley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her husband, John; and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an excellent pie and bread baker; and also enjoyed gardening, canning and working in her yard and flower garden.
Survivors include a daughter Peggy (James) Happ of Greeley; two sons, John E. (Susan) Graff of Greeley and Jay D. (Steve) of San Diego; CA; grandchildren, Amy (Kai) Fournier, Kimberly Graff and E.J. Graff; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Caleb and Miles Fournier; a sister, Joanne Meinke of St. Paul; and a sister-in-law, Marvis Timmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and three brothers, Marvin, Darrell and James Timmons.
