
Charles Wesley “Wes” Allbright, 57, of Ord passed away unexpectedly at his home in Ord.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church in Ord. Pastor Spenser Johnson will officiate. Private Inurnment will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Charles Wesley was born, the only son to Charles and Elda (Peshek) Allbright at Broken Bow, Nebraska. He was raised on the family farm in Custer County and graduated from Ord High School in 1982.
Wes continued his education at Hasting Community College then returned to the family farm where he farmed and ranched. Wes moved into Ord where he began a lawn care business and then a transport service. He hauled campers, livestock and heavy equipment across the U.S. until he was in an accident while working which caused him to retire.
Wes was an avid outdoorsman. He especially liked deer hunting and fishing. He coached girls’ softball and was involved at Ft. Hartsuff with reenactments.
Survivors include his many friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
