Marjorie was born in Burwell, Nebraska, on May 13, 1948, the daughter of Roy and Lela Moninger. She graduated from Burwell High School in 1966.
Life led Margie to Corpus Christi, Texas, where she held a number of positions, including mother, daughter, sister, friend, medical transcriptionist, and many more. Margie enjoyed good music, good food, good laughs, and good friends. She thought there could never be enough color, enough flowers, or enough shoes in the world. Her passions included growing things and cooking, but she would try anything once. She was kind-hearted, thoughtful, and generous, and loved people who were the same way. Above all, she loved her family. We choose to believe she’s in heaven now with her beloved daddy.
If you were looking for a few words of advice from her, she’d tell you to take care of yourself, exercise even if you don’t feel like it, stop making excuses, splurge every now and then, hang out with people who respect you, and tell the people you love that you love them as often as you can.
Margie leaves behind her loving son and daughter-in-law, Monte and Robin; her grandson, Ryan; her great-grandson, Austin; her grandpuppies, Cooper and Charlie; her brother, Bob; her sister, Carole, and a slew of nephews and nieces.
