Pathway Bank announces the addition of Dean Fahrenholz to its Ord branch as Market President and Senior Lender. Dean has nearly three decades of banking experience that includes serving the Ord market for the past 19 years.
Dean grew up on a family farm in Sterling, Nebraska and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and business ag management from Peru State College. He later earned an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, along with a graduate degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
Dean is married to wife Traci and they have two children, Trevor and Dana. Traci is a registered nurse and has served as the school nurse for the Ord Public Schools for the last 14 years. Trevor is employed by First National Bank in Lincoln, and Dana is entering the Radiology program at Clarkson College in Omaha this fall.
Dean has been active in the community in a variety of roles, including coaching youth sports and serving on the boards of the Ord Area Chamber of Commerce, Valley County Economic Development, and the Valley County Health System Foundation.
Dean is excited to join the ranks of a bank that is community-minded and is committed to, and understands, agriculture and the major role it has on the economic vitality of Ord and the surrounding area.
