Funeral Services for Lyle David, age 96, of Burwell, and formerly of Chambers, will be 10:30 am Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Chambers. Burial will be in the Chambers Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the Chambers American Legion Post #320. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill with a 6 pm Prayer Service. Lyle passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill is in charge of arrangements.
Lyle is survived by his three sons, Billy David of Bassett, Tim (Mary) David of Norfolk, Terry David of Ainsworth; two granddaughters, April (Russ) Burkholder of North Carolina, Brook (Charles) Wilderson of Indiana, two step grandsons, Larry Bouquin Pittsburg, PA, Jason Boursquin of Atkinson, two great granddaughters, one great grandson; one sister-in-law, Doris David of Ord; a brother-in-law in his wife’s side, Mike (Mary) Vollbrecht of Arizona; many nieces and nephews.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Darlene David in 2012; a daughter-in-law, Jayne David in 2013; brothers and sisters.
