A Burwell, Nebraska ranch will be in the national spotlight during Super Bowl Sunday, as Morgan Ranch Beef is set to appear in a Google commercial as part of the company’s 50 States, 50 Stories campaign. The fourth-generation cattle operation, known for producing premium Wagyu beef, was selected to showcase how small businesses across the country are using Google AI technology to grow and streamline operations.
Rancher Roger Morgan and his team will take a break from their work in the Sandhills to watch the big game at a local bar, where many of their neighbors will be seeing the commercial for the first time. Morgan said he never imagined his family’s business would be part of a Super Bowl commercial, calling it a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The 30-second spot features Morgan on horseback, describing the ranch’s connection to the land, while highlighting how the family business has expanded internationally with the help of Google AI. The technology has helped them track inventory, manage cattle records, and streamline customer communications, making global operations more efficient.
Founded in 1932, Morgan Ranch has grown from a small Nebraska cattle operation into a global supplier of Wagyu beef, shipping to more than 100 Michelin-star restaurants and markets in Tokyo, London, and beyond. While the ranch still follows traditional methods, Morgan says embracing modern technology has been key to their success.
The commercial, set to air in the Nebraska market, was filmed on-site at the ranch, capturing the beauty of the Sandhills and the everyday work of Nebraska ranchers. Morgan says friends and family are eager to see the final cut, and he expects plenty of excitement when their hometown ranch flashes across TV screens during the biggest football game of the year.
