The United States Marshals Service, in coordination with the Nebraska State Patrol, apprehended a 28-year-old man suspected of involvement in a Texas homicide. The arrest occurred near Goehner, a small town of approximately 150 residents located about 30 miles west of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Authorities conducted the joint operation after receiving information that the suspect was traveling through Nebraska on Interstate 80. The man was taken into custody on Saturday in Seward County without incident.
The Arlington Police Department in Texas confirmed that the suspect is wanted in connection with an ongoing murder investigation, though no additional details about the case have been disclosed. The suspect is currently being held at the Seward County Jail, awaiting extradition to Texas.
