n Grand Island, Nebraska, Brandon Bahensky, the son of Hall County’s jail administrator, is now facing federal charges related to drug distribution and firearms offenses. The 35-year-old is accused of possessing methamphetamine, cocaine, and heroin with the intent to distribute, along with carrying a firearm in connection with drug activity.
The charges stem from a May 13 search by the Tri-Cities Drug Enforcement Team at Bahensky’s residence in north Grand Island. Court records indicate that authorities discovered large amounts of fentanyl, meth, psilocybin mushrooms, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and a loaded 9 mm handgun.
Federal prosecutors filed these charges against Bahensky last month, and he has since been detained in federal custody, although court documents do not specify his current location. Brandon Bahensky is the son of Todd Bahensky, director of the Hall County Department of Corrections.
