Beginning on Jan. 1, 2024, the per night fee for RV camping on electrical sites at Davis Creek Recreation Area will increase from $25 to 30. This increase comes after years of no fee increases to RV camp in the popular recreation area near North Loup.
The Lower Loup NRD’s Board of Directors approved the increase at their January 2023 meeting following a recommendation from the Board’s Programs and Projects Committee.
Recent improvements to the recreation area’s two RV campgrounds include a shower house/storm shelter, wi-fi, new vault toilets, a second boat dock and new parking area, a fish cleaning station, and an RV sanitary dump. Improvements continue – a road paving project is scheduled for the main road through the recreation area after Labor Day 2024.
Camping at Davis Creek Recreation Area remains economical, with the per night cost being less than many other campgrounds in the area.
