
Dwayne Alvin Schamp, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 with his family by his side.
Dwayne was born on August 30, 1950 to Alvin and Margaret (Czarnik) Schamp. He was the tenth child born into this family. He attended several one room school houses before transferring to Ord High School where he later graduated in 1968. After graduation he joined the United States Army, where he served for twenty-two months, till he was honorably discharged. After returning home he united into marriage with Sherry Welfl and from this union two children were born, Justeen and Jessie.
Dwayne’s hobbies include rodeos, where he rode bulls and broncos and roped. But his greatest passion was coyote hunting and raising greyhounds. He would spend every Sunday coyote hunting with his family and friends. Some of the best memories involve an old blue pickup and the word Tally-Ho!
His is survived by his best friend and companion, Monica Kamarad, his daughters, Justeen and Bryan Stahlnecker, Jessie and Brandon Boroff and four grandchildren, Aurora, Logan, Colton and CaseLynn. A brother Frank, sisters, Maxine, Ruth, Dusty and Monica.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, a grandchild Katelynn and two unheld angels.
Dwayne’s wishes were not to have any service. There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation.
