Marcia Raeleen Beal, 65, of Ericson, Nebraska died November 23, 2020 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell, Nebraska.
Raeleen wishes were to be cremated. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Taylor Cemetery in Taylor, Nebraska. Pastor Jerry Schoenenberger will officiate. A memorial visitation will be Monday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to 4 The Cure in Burwell.
Raeleen was born June 30, 1955 in St. Paul, Nebraska to Charles Irvin and Bobetta Joyce (Linderman) Fletcher. They lived in Wolbach, Nebraska and then moved to Stapleton, Nebraska. They moved to Rock County south of Bassett, Nebraska and Raeleen graduated from Rock County High School in Bassett. She went to college at Chadron State College where she earned her teaching degree. After graduation she taught at Mitchell, Nebraska. She then continued her schooling at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Raeleen was a Physical Therapist and specialized in Myofascial Release.
Raeleen married Thomas Beal on July 22, 2000 at the Burwell Baptist Church. They lived in Burwell for a while, until the moved to the ranch in Valley County. They moved to Ericson and built a home in March of 2018.
Raeleen had business and practiced in Burwell until she was forced to retired due to health issues.
Raeleen enjoyed flowers, yard work, being outdoors, traveling, being around people and helping them spiritually and especially family.
She was a member of Baptist Church, Rotary and the Physical Therapy Association. She was also very active in the Nebraska Walk to Emmaus.
Raeleen is survived by her husband Tom Beal of Ericson, Nebraska. A son, Zach Beal of Wayne, Nebraska. A daughter, Kalli and Ridge Horky of Arcadia, Nebraska and their daughter, Breckyn Horky. Her parents Irvin and Joyce Fletcher of Sargent, Nebraska. Three sisters, Barbara Jo and Roy Barta of St. Paul, Nebraska, Pat and Vaugh Meeks of Denton, Nebraska and Cindy and Denny Goss of Taylor, Nebraska, nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
