(Ord, NE) – All are welcome to attend National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 from 5:30-7:30 pm in Downtown Ord. Local businesses and organizations are offering games, activities, prizes and treats for the community event that encourages police-community connections and neighborhood camaraderie.
Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August.
This Tuesday, a water tunnel, Minute To Win It games, sidewalk bowling, a book walk, frisbee tic tac toe, sidewalk chalk, watermelon seed spitting, art activities and other yard games will be available along with tasty treats including snow cones, popsicles, popcorn and s’mores.
Spend the whole evening in downtown. Grab dinner at a local eatery then come take part in all the activities with your community.
