Henry John Burson, 69, of Burwell, Nebraska died June 8, 2019 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday June 17, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Burwell. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. Pastor Dennis Davenport will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Henry was born in Burwell, Nebraska on December 24, 1949 to Loyd and Betty (Tiff) Burson. Henry grew up fifteen miles east of Burwell.
Henry married Rosina Shultz on March 26, 1976 in Burwell. They lived in Burwell and Henry worked for Loup Valley Alfalfa, until he was forced to retired from an accident.
Henry enjoyed fishing, tinkering, gardening, walking and have coffee.
Henry is survived by his wife, Rosina Burson of Burwell, Nebraska. Three children, Liza and Billy Reineke of Ericson, Nebraska, Erica Burson of Ord, Nebraska and Tyler Burson of Ord, Nebraska and four grandchildren. A brother, Robert Burson of Missouri. Four sisters, Viola Berney of Grand Island, Nebraska, Norma Schreier of Burwell, Nebraska, Marge and Greg Davis of Security, Colorado and Shirley Jones of Burwell, Nebraska.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gerald Burson and Danny Burson and a niece Susan Burson.
