CENTRAL CITY — After two years of not operating, the theater in Central City is set to reopen.
The theater opens with a viewing of the cartoon movie “Zootopia”.
It shut down in 2014 because of the costs of converting digital films. However, a local group secured grants and donations. An estimated $100,000 was spent to reopen the theater.
It was originally built as an Opera House in 1916.
