KEARNEY — A Chicago man has been sentenced more than 17 years in prison for robbing a credit union in Kearney.
Patrick Wigley robbed the Kearney Eaton Employees Union in October. The 29-year-old and two others entered the union and pulled out a handgun.
The men gathered the employees into an office and bound their hands with zip ties. They took more than $120,000 from a teller’s drawer and vault.
The other two men are also facing jail time. Thomas Dunlap was sentenced last month to 11 years in prison, while Clifton Hudson is awaiting trial.
The three were also ordered to pay restitution.
